Our philosophy

The most important aspect of the relationship you have with your cat is respect. If you understand your cat’s body language and boundaries, your relationship will flourish. Since 2015, we’ve helped hundreds of cat owners achieve this important element. We teach the behaviour you can expect from your pet – and vice versa.

Why train cats? Just imagine what it would be like to have your cat come when called, stop begging at the table, stop trying to run out the door, sit and wait when asked, stop fighting, or stop squirming when bathing or getting nails trimmed. All these behaviours – and more – are trainable. How? Through redirection and cues, cats learn how to offer the appropriate behaviour in a given situation.

Cats enjoy being trained. It gives them something to do in their daily lives and teaches them how to communicate with their humans. Using positive reinforcement and shaping techniques, a feline can become a well-behaved member of the household.

What about behaviour problems?

Owners give up on their cats every day because they have problems such as scratching furniture, exhibiting fear and aggression or not using the litter box. Many cats end up at shelters as a result. Cats can’t communicate like we do, so if they’re having an issue – perhaps it’s adding a new animal or person to the household – we need to understand what they’re thinking and feeling. We’re here to help because a happy kitty means a happy household.
